TriTel TimeBank v. 1.4
for the TriTel Bulletin Board System
Copyright (c) 1991
by Randy Hunt
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
TriTel is a VERY new Bulletin Board system that has just recently been
born.
The Author of the TriTel BBS is one of my close friends, so I have been quite
interested in it all from the beginning. SO, I decided to write up this
little door for his board, and for anyone else who decides to set up a
TriTel BBS. There are a number of little steps that you will have to do in
order for you to get this door to run on your board. I will try to explain
it as simply as I can. And--Congratulations on your decision to run the
best new bulletin board system around!

Setup
-----
1. First of all, make a directory somewhere, anywhere, and call it
whatever you like. Move all of the junk that came in this ZIP
file into that directory.
2. Since I am using the wonderful routines of Scott Baker's and
Derrick Parkhurt's DoorDriver, you will have to edit the file
TRIBANK.CTL to the specifications in the file. It is all self
explanatory, from what I can see. PLEASE NOTE: For BBSTYPE, put
PCB14! This just tells TriBank that you are going to make the
necessary PCB14 files.
3. Next, edit or make the file TRIBANK.CFG (which should be in your
TriBank directory. There are four lines in this file, and they are
as follows:
- Line 1 contains the path to your tritel work directory, with a
"\" on the end. An example would be: C:\TRITEL\WORK\
- Line 2 is the maximum number of MINUTES that you would want
anyone to store in the Bank.
- Line 3 is your FIRST AND LAST NAME ONLY.
- Line 4 is your registration number. Put 0 on this line
if you are unregistered.
4. Now, go into your main TriTel directory and make the 'batch' file
to run TriBank. It may look something like this (leave out
everything between the /* */'s):
copy pcboard.sys c:\tritel\tribank /* NECESSARY! */
copy pcboard.dat c:\tritel\tribank /* " */
copy users. c:\tritel\tribank /* " */
cd\tritel\tribank
tribank
cd\tritel
board /*or whatever the batchfile is that starts up the board*/
To run, TriBank will NEED those three PCBOARD file that are listed
as "Necessary" above, in the TriBank directory.
5. Finally, go to your TriTel work directory and edit the file DOORS.MNU.
The line you should add would go something like this:
P,TriTel TimeBank,tribank,10
That last number, as you know, is the security level needed to access
the TimeBank. Set this to whatever you want.
6. There is no number 6!
